Pricing

$39/mo.
Every Exam on the Roster.

Hiring cycles are seasonal and applications are not, so the price is monthly and the annual tier exists for a year of applying.
AccelaStudy® AI Government bills by the month with no commitment and no access window.

Subscriptions open at launch in April 2027. Nothing is charged before then.

Annual

$31/mo

$372 billed annually — saves $96 a year.

For a year of applying. Which, in this market, is what one application usually turns into.

  • Everything in Monthly
  • The right shape for a hiring cycle: a written test in the spring, a board in the summer, a list that moves in the fall
  • One profile carried across every agency you apply to in the year
  • The certifications, which run over months rather than weeks
  • Cheaper from month ten onward, and most public-sector job searches are longer than that

Agencies, academies and public-sector workforces

Seat-based accounts exist for public employers — a department putting a recruit class through, a county human-resources office running mandatory training as continuous competency rather than an annual click-through. It is an institutional arrangement rather than a plan you can buy on this page, so the price depends on the workforce: pricing on request. See what a seat covers, including what it deliberately is not. A seat is the same product an individual subscriber gets — it is not certification, it carries no training credit, and it does not change what your agency is required to provide.

The arithmetic

What Each Window Actually Costs

Four real study windows, priced on each side of the decision.

Police or fire window

$78

Two months, every exam family and the oral board. Against $79–$300 for one agency’s practice pack.

A postal invitation

$39

You get 72 hours’ notice and need a week. Against $30–$90 for a booklet.

A Foreign Service run

$78

Two months. Against $50–$200 of books, most of which describe the format that was replaced in October 2025.

A finance credential

$234

Six months on the monthly rate, or less on annual. Against $500–$800 of study materials.

The part that compounds: an application is rarely one application. A city exam, a state exam, a corrections exam as a backup, a federal assessment and an oral board is five purchases in this category, at five prices, and each one starts you at zero. Here it is one subscription you switch off between exams and switch back on when the next notice opens.

The field

Who You Are Actually Choosing Between

Three separate markets that barely acknowledge each other, which is itself the point.
Here is where we sit in each.

Per-exam packs

JobTestPrep · PrepTerminal · iPrep · Practice4Me

The dominant shape of this market: a static practice pack for one named test, from about $79. They are quick to buy, they cover the right test, and they are genuinely useful for a single exam. What none of them does is carry anything into the next one, or generate material after you have worked through the bank.

Books and classes

Mometrix · Peterson’s · Kaplan® · PoliceExam911 · Sgt. Godoy · Civil Service Success · Top Cop

Study guides in the $30 to $90 band, lifetime-access courses for one exam, and in-person exam classes in the cities that run big civil-service cycles. A good instructor in a room is a real thing and we are not pretending otherwise — but a printed page cannot take a memory scene away from you, and a course written for one exam is written for one exam.

Certification materials

The certifying bodies · Planetizen

Study guides and prep courses from the bodies themselves and from specialist publishers, roughly $100 to $800 per credential. The bodies’ own materials are authoritative in a way ours cannot claim to be — if you want a body’s own content outline, buy it from them. Ours is the practice around it, and the second credential is included rather than repurchased.

Where we sit, stated plainly: for one exam, once, a $79 pack for that exact test is a perfectly rational purchase and we are not going to pretend it is not. Where we win is everything after the first exam — the second, third and fourth are included rather than repurchased, nothing you proved gets thrown away between them, and the sections that cannot be printed (memory, X-ray, maps, data entry, the oral board) are practiced rather than described. We do not offer a pass guarantee and we are not going to imply one.

Billing Questions

Can I really cancel any time?
Yes, in one click from your account. Paid access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for, and nothing renews after that. Switching off between exams and back on when the next notice opens is the normal pattern here, not an edge case.
Is there a trial?
There is a 7-day free trial, and it is per product — sign up through AccelaStudy AI Government and you trial AccelaStudy AI Government. One trial per product, per account. Civil Service Fundamentals is separately free and needs no trial and no card.
What is actually included?
Everything on this site: the federal entrance exams, the police, fire, corrections, dispatcher and civil-service title exams, the three oral boards, the sections nobody teaches, the public-sector certifications with regulation lookup and the workbenches, Autopilot planning and readiness. There are no add-ons and no premium tier above this one.
Which plan should I be on?
If you have one exam booked inside a couple of months, monthly. If you are applying to several agencies across a year, or studying a certification, annual — which is cheaper from month ten onward.
Are exam or application fees included?
No, and most federal entrance exams do not charge one. Where an agency or a certifying body charges a fee, you pay it to them and it is not part of this subscription. Confirm the current figure with the agency when you apply.
Do you sell seats to agencies?
Yes, as an institutional arrangement rather than a plan on this page. Pricing is on request and depends on the size of the workforce — get in touch and say roughly how many people you are putting through. There is no federal offering; see the agencies page for why.
What if I do not pass and have to retake?
Resubscribe for the months you need and pick up where you left off — your profile, your proficiency and your history are preserved. Several of these exams have a waiting period before a retake, and one of them is a year, which is another reason a monthly subscription fits better than a window you already burned. There is no pass guarantee here and no refund tied to a result.
Why is the button disabled?
Because the product launches in April 2027 and we are not taking money for something you cannot use yet. Join the waitlist and you will hear the day it opens.
